Francesca Minischetti

Francesca speaks Italian and German.

Francesca was born in Italy, graduated from The Anglo European Chiropractic College, Bournemouth with a Masters degree in 2001.

Francesca has worked in private practice between the UK and Italy since graduating.

She is skilled in several Chiropractic techniques and has a keen interest in exercise rehabilitation, which allows her to treat a whole range of spinal problems.

Francesca has a special interest in the treatment of pregnant women and children.


Shaheeda Chowdhury

Shaheeda speaks Bengali.

Shaheeda graduated from the European Institute of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Surrey in 2004 with a Masters degree in Chiropractic, after completing an undergraduate honours degree in Biomedical Science.

Shaheeda regularly attends conferences and seminars with a keen interest in health promotion, sports rehabilitation and Paediatrics. She is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, a Member of the British Chiropractic Association and an Associate Member of the College of Chiropractors.

Shaheeda adopts an integrated approach to treatment: she combines specific manipulative therapy, dry needling, exercise and rehabilitation along with advice on nutrition and ergonomics.

After work Shaheeda enjoys running, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.



Hema Patel

Hema has worked in private practice since qualifying as a Podiatrist/Chiropodist from Northampton School of Podiatry and is registered with the Health Professional Council. Her key interests are in biomechanics and Verruccae treatments. She firmly believes in Continuous Professional Development as a way of keeping updated on new treatments and developments within the profession. She likes to promote various issues and new research that comes to light through lecturing at seminars. Hema is extremely passionate about podiatry and would like to see advances in homeopathic podiatry. She is working actively to increase her knowledge in this area.

As well as having a full time career she is a leader at a local Brownie pack and teaches maths to students in need of extra support.

Hema enjoys working in a multi disciplinary environment and believes this to be a healthy change in the way people perceive healthcare, as it allows for patients to get the best possible treatment. As well as mutually beneficial for the practitioners who can learn from each other. Healthy comfortable feet should be within everyone’s reach and Hema believes this target to be attainable; her enthusiasm is as contagious as is her positive attitude towards podiatry.



Magdalena Lius MBAcC

Magdalena is an experienced acupuncturist and has worked within the field of complimentary healthcare since 1998. She started as a massage therapist and then went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine – Acupuncture. After completing her acupuncture degree in 2002 she has worked within a wide variety of clinical settings. She has amongst other things worked as an assistant supervisor in the university clinic for Traditional Chinese Medicine – Acupuncture. Magdalena ensures she attends regular seminars and post-graduate training to continuously develop and update her knowledge.

Magdalena takes a particular interest in fertility and pregnancy and has attended several courses in infertility and obstetric acupuncture. She is a member of the London Acupuncture Childbirth team http://www.actlondon.net/
Magdalena is further under training to become an Active Birth Teacher with Janet Balaskas.

Magdalena puts a strong emphasis on treating the individual and an acupuncture treatment is often combined with massage, cupping and herbal remedies depending on the individual’s needs. She sees a wide range of conditions in the clinic.

Charlotte Morgan

Holistic Massage

Charlotte began her career as a massage therapist in 1996, she worked in private practice for two years during which time she attended various workshops and learnt a variety of techniques including deep tissue massage and basic Shiatsu.

She developed an interest in yoga whilst travelling extensively in India, and became increasingly aware of the “eastern” approach to health and healing. This prompted her to begin training as an Acupuncturist in 1998, including extra studies in Qi Gong Tuina (Traditional Chinese Massage) further developing her interest in “hands on approach”, but using the T.C.M (Traditional Chinese Medicine methodology. She qualified in T.C.M. Acupuncture in 2003.

Charlotte began working at the Islington Chiropractic Clinic in 2005, she primarily works as a “body worker” in the clinic specialising in muscular skeletal conditions. She takes a holistic approach and incorporates nutrition, stretching and lifestyle advice from both eastern and western traditions.

Charlotte is currently studying to become a Yoga teacher so that she can offer further practical support to her clients for sustaining good physical health.


Samantha Briggs


Sam has worked in Private Practice since qualifying in 1993 in Sports Therapy, Aromatherapy, Heat treatment, Electrical treatment, also Weight Training Coach and Inductors qualification. Since then Sam has added to her studies and will continue to do so. She classes herself has a body work therapist working with the body in a holistic way which includes treatment aftercare and Rehabilitation when needed. She likes to work closely with other therapies if needed to provide a full and complete treatment.

Sam’s Background

Sam has held a 2nd degree in shukokai Karate, 1st degree shotokan and a color belt in E C K A (English Contact Karate Association). She has competed both here in the UK and also in Australia achieving many Medals. She retired from Karate in 1999 when she went traveling around Australia. Since coming back in 2000 she has worked here in London first as a Fitness consultant and then in Private practice.

Sam aims to provide a completely holistic treatment which will treat the body as a whole not just the symptoms.


Tim Harwood

Massage Therapist

Tim also practices Reiki and Emotional Release Therapy.

Tim trained with the London School of Sports & Remedial Massage. He received an externally accredited diploma (BTEC) in Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage, the only Level 5 currently offered in the country. He is a member of the Institute of Sport and Remedial Massage and is registered with the Complementary & Natural Health Council. Both professional bodies require continual development and Tim believes that the human body is such an amazing thing that there is a wealth of knowledge for him to discover.

Tim is a Reiki Practitioner, and is a member of the UK Reiki Federation. He believes that Reiki offers considerable benefits in a stressful world and that its energy work can help in many ways to balance the body and mind.

He was trained for Emotional Realignment Therapy (ERT) by its creator, J.E. Honey. It is a revolutionary approach to permanently clearing emotional blocks and the issues they cause. Tim is one of a select number of qualified ERT practitioners in the world, and is delighted to offer it in the London area.
